Stephanie’s love of physical activity and the connection between mind and body began when she put on her first pair of ballet slippers at age 10. After 10+ years of training in over a dozen dance styles, and including her love of instructing beginning at age 15, the natural transition from dance was to fitness when she began working part-time at the local YMCA while attending college.

Since then, her fascination with the human movement system and strengthening both mind and body through movement has only grown, as she has shared the knowledge and skills with others to help them grow and be their best selves.

She loves the atmosphere and energy of teaching group fitness and group workouts. In addition to three years of attending a cross-training gym similar to The Fit Life Studio, Stephanie holds three group ex format certifications, is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and is currently pursuing a Certified Nutrition Coach also with NASM.  In December 2020, she secured her dream job back at her local YMCA -- the very one she first found her love of fitness at – this time as Director of Healthy Living and Aquatics.  With this new adventure with The Fit Life Studio, Stephanie is excited for the next step in broadening not only her own physical horizons but helping the community reach their fittest lives through all things wellness.
