FAST Swim Team
We plan to hold our open house at 3pm on June 13th at the Hampden-Sydney pool. The four-week season would start with practices beginning on Monday, June 21st. As in previous seasons, we would hold practices Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday with a meet every Thursday. Each of the three "home" facilities -- Fuqua School, Hampden-Sydney College, and Southside VA Family YMCA -- will host their teams' practices Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Meets between all three teams will take place on Thursdays, and rotate facilities weekly.
The cost will be a $25 initial registration fee plus a instruction fee of $20/week. Participation is open to any student ages 5-12 who can pass a swim test.
